Guardianships are court-approved and monitored arrangements that provide for the care and
support of loved ones who are not capable of managing their own affairs. Guardians can
serve young children under the age of 18, individuals with disabilities, or persons with mental
limitations. A guardian’s responsibilities are similar to those of parents or people who serve as a
power of attorney.

At Coleman & Eufinger, we can help you navigate the process for establishing a guardianship
and maintaining it properly. We will assist you with conducting your annual accounting and the
other paperwork required by the Probate Court. We will also be available to answer questions
you may have and to help you guardians carry out their role in a lawful and responsible manner.
